Brian Griese (Born March 18, 1975, Miami, Florida) is an American football player who presently plays quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. He is the boy of previous NFL swell Bob Griese.
College Career
Griese played college football at the University of Michigan, where he led a Wolverines to an undefeated year around 1997 and a part of the national championship. Despite sharing a field by owning Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson, Griese was selected the virtually all worthful streaming video player of the Rose Bowl. Altogether, Griese went 17-Five as a starter at Michigan.
Professional Career
Brian Griese was drafted per Denver Broncos in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. His Wonderlic Test score was a 39. Griese began his agent career as a backup to John Elway. As the cub, Griese was a member of the Super Bowl champion Broncos, though he primarily watched from either a sidelines. Elway retired fallowing that year, & Griese so became the starting quarterback, earning the place in the 2000 Pro Bowl. Griese's performance declined fallowing injuries & rumour of alcoholism & he was traded number one to the Miami Dolphins and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he now starts.
